The light at the end of the tunnel...

There is a light....I can see it. I am just 72 days away from graduating from college!!!
I just wish that the classes would be so difficult along the way.
Feeling the stress of school is never fun but I just keep reminding myself that there are only 72 days until I am walking across a stage, being handed a diploma, and smiling the biggest smile anyone has ever seen on me.
College is a big mile stone in mane people's lives. I feel that it is even bigger for me because i exceeded my own expectations by graduating a year early. I always knew that I would have more than one degree because one is just never good enough :) but being able to get two degrees in only three years and proven to me how hard I work. It has helped me keep pushing through all the assignments and the exams.
I am looking forward to the day that I can turn to someone and say that I am a college graduate from Canisius College. All I'm think about right now is that there are only 32 more school days standing between me and the day when I can say that.
So I am going to keep pushing forward because I know there is so much I have to look forward to!!!!!!!

Way too long...

It has been way too long.
I haven't written on here since before summer.
So a little catch up...
I am soooo EXTREMELY excited!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am graduating a year early from college. I also some how found a way to have a dual major.
So that is pretty freaking awesome!
So I am very exited for this next year.
There is nothing better than knowing that you wont be in as much debt as you thought you would be originally!!!!
Also, I am joining my sister and my brother in running a 5K.
This is kind of extremely awesome as well. We are running for hospice. For those of you who don't have the pleasure of knowing what hospice is here is a little snipit of information! Hospice is a place where people can go when they are on their way out of this world and they will be treated with the highest level of respect. My grandfather was in a hospice and words can't describe how grateful I am that the people there were there. Also it is a nonprofit business and all of the workers are volunteers. I believe that it takes an amazing person to be able to help out the way those volunteers helped my grandfather. It is my goal to be able to help out there some day as well. So since I am not able to help out there right now I will be running instead.
I can't wait!!!

I also just bought my second pair of TOMS shoes. For those of you who don't have a pair i highly recommend them. Not only are they extremely comfortable but for every pair of shoes you buy you are giving a pair of shoes to a child that didn't have any. That is just amazing!!!
I'm saving up for the sunglasses right now! The pair I am going to get is in the picture above!!!

...Its the best day of the week

I love Fridays. I strongly believe they are the best day of the week. They are the day before the weekend so you still have the whole weekend to look forward to, and if you are lucky a teacher might let you out of class early!
There also is nothing better than my amazing work study job. I am so happy that everyday I get to come and work for such an awesome boss. The conversations we have are awesome. I swear if I could I would totally take one of his classes that he teaches here because I feel I learn so much just sitting and having a conversation with him!
In other news the super bowl is coming up.....and to be honest I will be watching the game for the commercials. I don't care which team wins they both aren't my team so that is that, however I am very excited to see the commercials because I love to see how all of the ads try to attract certain people.

.....

This past week has been a hard one for me.
I was the witness of a very tragic event.
I saw a man get hit by a car.
I was terrified but I knew I needed to help so I stayed with him until the police and fire truck came. This was about 20 minutes. I got to know him a little bit because we talked so I could make sure he stayed awake. He is 29 years old. He has his whole life ahead of him.
At this moment he is at ECMC in serious condition.
I have been praying all week that he will be ok.
So please anyone who reads this please, please pray that he will be ok.

A "cold day"

Oh how I just love when all the school districts around my school have what us Buffalonians call a "cold day" and yet I still have college. I guess that's what happens when you start to pay for your schooling...
Anyways, it has been far too long since I have written on my blog and yet I don't have much to talk about. My life was quite relaxing over my winter break. Christmas came and went. However the one VERY VERY VERY exciting thing that happened on Christmas was that I got a....wait for it....

SEWING MACHINE!!!!!!!

I was sooo excited. My very own sewing machine to make my very own things that I get to put so much love into. Oh I just can't wait!!!!!!! So the first thing I made with the sewing machine was a purse. It started out as a tester to make sure my sewing machine was running properly but after everything was perfect I just made it into a nice big bag to carry my books around in at school. So that was one awesomely AMAZING thing that I was able to do over break. However, other than that I didn't do much else.

Then school started up again.
18 credit hours here come.
And in the first week of classes I was slightly dreading having to sit down and choreograph three dances for the studio I teach at because nothing was coming into my mind about it. So I went to dance as I normally do with a few ideas in my head and tried to figure out what I was going to do. And just seeing all my girls was all that I needed. And then all of a sudden out of no where I did all three dances in two hours. I have to say I was very proud of myself. So I gave myself a pat on the back and then fell asleep because it was very late by the time I was done.
But over all I think my dances are phenomenal and I think all of my dance girls are going to love it!!!
I love having moments such as that one. Where everything comes together.
It is just such a wonderful feeling!
